About us

   I am Wendy Neufeld and in 2022 I created GWENDOLYN & OLIVER. I am a mother to one son and wife to my husband of over twenty-four years. We share a love of travel, music and sports. Some of my passions intertwine, as we travel for concerts, music festivals, and sporting events throughout Canada and the U.S.A. When it comes to my creative side, you will usually find me painting on canvas. 

 The name GWENDOLYN & OLIVER comes from baby names my parents were originally going to use. They were going to name me Gwendolyn, however they decided on something a bit shorter, Wendy. The name Oliver was meant for my youngest sibling. My parents thought they were having a baby boy. When my sister made her entrance to the world, my parents had to change their baby name plans. 

The inspiration for my jewellery creations come from a few different places. My appreciation for Celtic lore, my Irish, Scottish and English family heritage and my love for metal music and the many motifs associated with it. My husband and I have attended quite a few concerts over the years. We started an alphabetical list to keep track of all the bands we've seen, and needless to say when we completed the list the only letters on the list without bands are the letter X.

There are tons of choices out there when it comes to necklaces and earrings, however I just couldn't seem to find jewelry that really showcased my individuality. So, I started learning how to make my own jewelry and this is where all of you come in. I want to share my creations with everyone that enjoys the different, the unique, and the one-of-a-kind jewelry to compliment your individual style.
